1. About this Cookie Policy
1.1This Cookie Policy is published by Adv. Tal Galik Lavi Law Office, operating under the brand Lawyerit, a law firm licensed in Israel (the "Firm", "Lawyerit" and/or "we"). It explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on the website lawyer-it.com, including the English legal department page at lawyer-it.com/legal-department/ (the "Website"), for what purpose, who provides them, whether your consent is required, and how you can make and change your choice.
1.2This Cookie Policy forms an integral part of the Firm's Privacy Policy (https://lawyer-it.com/legal/privacy/) and should be read together with it. Terms that are not defined in this Cookie Policy have the meaning given to them in the Privacy Policy. Nothing in this Cookie Policy derogates from the provisions of the Privacy Policy.
2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies
2.1"Cookies" are small text files that a website stores in the memory of the computer, device or browser of the user, and that are read again when the user returns to the website. "Similar technologies" include, among others, the browser's local storage (localStorage), in which a website can save values on your device that remain there until they are deleted, scripts that collect information about the use of a website, and methods of measurement that do not store any information on your device but process technical data that your browser sends when it loads a page (such as the IP address and the browser's user agent).
2.2In this Cookie Policy, the term "cookies" refers to cookies and to all of the similar technologies described above, unless stated otherwise.
2.3Cookies may be "first party" cookies, set by the Firm itself, or "third party" cookies, set by another company whose service is used on the Website. Cookies may also be "strictly necessary", meaning required for the operation of the Website or for a service that you have expressly requested, or "analytics" cookies, which help us understand how the Website is used.
3. Our Approach
3.1As of the date of the update of this Cookie Policy, the Website has no paid advertising tools, social network pixels, retargeting tools or personalized advertising on behalf of third parties.
3.2We use only strictly necessary technologies, cookieless measurement tools that do not store any information on your device, and one analytics tool that records sessions (Microsoft Clarity), which is loaded only if you have given your consent to it by clicking "Accept" on the cookie banner.
3.3Where the law of your place of residence requires your consent for the storage of information on your device or for access to it, we rely on your consent. Technologies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the Website or for providing a service that you have expressly requested, and measurement methods that do not store or access any information on your device, do not require consent, and we rely in respect of them on our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning Website and in understanding, in aggregate, how it is used.
4. The Cookie Banner
4.1Upon your first entry to the Website (other than the English legal department page, as described in Section 4.4 below), a banner is displayed that allows you to express your position regarding the use of cookies and measurement tools that are not essential for the operation of the Website, by clicking "Accept" or "Decline".
4.2If you click "Accept", Microsoft Clarity is loaded on the Website and begins to collect data as described in the table in Section 5, and your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so that the banner is not displayed to you again.
4.3If you click "Decline", or do not respond to the banner at all, Microsoft Clarity is never loaded, and no data is collected through it. If you clicked "Decline", your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so that the banner is not displayed to you again. The strictly necessary technologies and the cookieless measurement tools described in Section 5 continue to operate whether you accept or decline.
4.4The English legal department page (lawyer-it.com/legal-department/) does not load Microsoft Clarity at all, regardless of your choice, and does not use any technology that requires your consent. For that reason, the banner is not displayed on that page.

6. How to Change Your Choice
6.1You may change your choice at any time. To withdraw a consent that you have given, or to make a new choice, clear the Website's data in your browser (including its local storage and cookies). Upon your next entry to the Website, the banner will be displayed to you again and you will be able to choose again.
6.2Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of your consent before its withdrawal. Cookies that Microsoft Clarity has already placed on your device remain there until they expire or until you delete them through your browser settings.
6.3The settings of every browser include an option to block or delete cookies and the data stored by websites. To learn how to manage your preferences, we recommend reviewing the instructions in your browser, for example: Chrome (https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647), Safari (https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-sfri11471/mac), Firefox (https://support.mozilla.org/kb/clear-cookies-and-site-data-firefox), Edge (https://support.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge). Please note that blocking or deleting cookies may cause some of the services on the Website to be unavailable and/or the experience of using the Website to be limited. Notwithstanding the above, technologies that are strictly necessary for the operation and management of the Website cannot be disabled through the banner.
7. Links to Third-Party Services
The Website includes links to services of third parties, such as WhatsApp and Cal.com. Once you click on such a link, you move to the service of the third party, and the use of cookies and the processing of your data there are subject to the terms and the privacy policy of that third party, which are not under our control. Subject to any mandatory provision of law, the Firm will not bear liability for the use of cookies or for the processing of data by third parties on their services.
8. Changes to this Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy may change from time to time as needed at our sole discretion and/or in accordance with changes in the technologies that we use or in the law. The updated Cookie Policy will be accessible on the Website. Where we add a technology that requires your consent, we will request your consent before it is loaded.
