Terms of Use

Adv. Tal Galik Lavi Law Office (Lawyerit) · Last updated: 20 October 2026

1. General

1.1These terms of use (the "Terms") govern the access to and use of the website lawyer-it.com and all of its pages, including the English legal department page at lawyer-it.com/legal-department/, the website chatbot, the free tools offered on the website and any other content or service made available through it (together, the "Website"), as well as the general terms that apply to the AI legal department service and the other legal services offered by the Firm (the "Services").

1.2The Website and the Services are operated and provided by Adv. Tal Galik Lavi Law Office, operating under the brand Lawyerit, licensed no. 308052695 (the "Firm", "Lawyerit" and/or "we"). The Firm is a law firm, and its lawyers are licensed to practice law in Israel and are members of the Israel Bar Association.

1.3By accessing or using the Website, in any manner, you confirm that you have read these Terms, understood them and agree to be bound by them, as well as by the Privacy Policy (https://lawyer-it.com/legal/privacy/) and the Cookie Policy (https://lawyer-it.com/legal/cookies/), which form an integral part of these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, in whole or in part, you must not use the Website.

1.4If you use the Website or the Services on behalf of a company, organization or other entity, you declare that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms, and the terms "you" and "User" will refer to you and to that entity together.

1.5The Website and the Services are intended for businesses and for persons over the age of 18. By using the Website you declare that you are over the age of 18 and legally competent to enter into binding agreements.

1.6These Terms are drafted for the sake of convenience in a form that addresses the User directly, and the headings in them are for convenience only and will not be used for their interpretation.

2. The Firm Is a Law Firm

2.1Lawyerit is the brand of a law firm, and not a technology company that provides legal software or an online legal information service. The legal services of the Firm are provided by the Firm's lawyers, in accordance with the Israel Bar Association Law, 5721-1961 and the Rules of Professional Ethics enacted under it, and in accordance with the engagement agreement signed with each client.

2.2The Firm's lawyers are licensed in Israel. Where a matter requires advice on the law of another country by a lawyer licensed in that country, or representation before an authority or a court outside Israel, the Firm will bring in a lawyer or expert licensed in that country, in coordination with the client and in accordance with the engagement agreement, and will manage the handling of the matter vis-a-vis that lawyer or expert.

3.1All of the content on the Website, including articles, guides, updates, answers to frequently asked questions, examples, templates, the results of the free assessment tools and any other content, in any form whatsoever (the "Content"), is provided for general information purposes only. The Content does not constitute legal advice, a legal opinion or a recommendation of any kind, does not take into account the particular circumstances of any person or business, and is not a substitute for legal advice from a lawyer given on the basis of the full facts of the specific matter.

3.2The law, regulation and regulatory guidance change frequently and differ from country to country. Although the Firm makes efforts to keep the Content accurate and up to date, the Firm does not undertake that the Content is accurate, complete, up to date or applicable to your circumstances, and the Content may not reflect the most recent legal developments.

3.3You must not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of the Content without first obtaining legal advice from a lawyer in the framework of an engagement. Any reliance on the Content is at your sole responsibility, and, subject to any mandatory provision of law, the Firm will not bear any liability for any damage, loss or expense caused as a result of reliance on the Content.

4. The Website Chatbot

4.1The Website includes a chatbot based on artificial intelligence (the "Chatbot"), powered by the Claude model of Anthropic and operated through the Firm's backend systems. The Chatbot is intended to provide general information about the Firm, its Services and general legal topics only.

4.2The Chatbot is an automated tool and not a lawyer. The answers of the Chatbot are generated automatically, are not reviewed by a lawyer before they are displayed to you, do not constitute legal advice, and may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or not applicable to your circumstances. The answers of the Chatbot do not bind the Firm and do not constitute an offer, an undertaking or a representation on behalf of the Firm.

4.3Your communications with the Chatbot are not made in the framework of a lawyer-client relationship, do not create such a relationship, and are not protected by the duty of confidentiality or by the attorney-client privilege that apply to such a relationship. You must not enter into the Chatbot confidential information, information protected by privilege, Personal Data or Data of Special Sensitivity, about yourself or about others. The information that you enter into the Chatbot will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

4.4The Firm may limit the use of the Chatbot, including the number of messages or their length, change it, suspend it or discontinue it at any time, at its sole discretion and without prior notice.

4.5Subject to any mandatory provision of law, the use of the Chatbot is at your sole responsibility, and the Firm will not bear any liability for any damage, loss or expense caused as a result of the use of the Chatbot or reliance on its answers.

5. When a Lawyer-Client Relationship Is Created

5.1Browsing the Website, reading the Content, using the free tools or the Chatbot, contacting the Firm by email, WhatsApp, telephone or any other means, scheduling or holding an introductory call, receiving a price quote, or sending documents or information to the Firm, do not, by themselves, create a lawyer-client relationship between you and the Firm.

5.2A lawyer-client relationship between you and the Firm will be created only upon the payment of the fee for the Services, in accordance with an engagement agreement between you and the Firm and in accordance with its terms, including its scope, and will apply only to the matters expressly defined in it. Before entering into an engagement, the Firm may carry out a conflict of interest check and client identification procedures, and the Firm may refuse to accept any engagement at its sole discretion.

5.3Until an engagement agreement is signed, please do not send the Firm confidential information or information protected by privilege. Information that you send before the signing of an engagement agreement will be handled with discretion, but its sending will not oblige the Firm to represent you or to refrain from representing another party, including a party whose interests conflict with yours, subject to the Rules of Professional Ethics.

6.1In the framework of the AI legal department service, the Firm provides companies with legal services, including the review and drafting of contracts, non-disclosure agreements, privacy documents and documents under the GDPR, and answers to questions relating to the EU AI Act, through a combination of artificial intelligence tools and the work of the Firm's lawyers.

6.2The artificial intelligence tools are tools that are used by the Firm's lawyers and under their supervision. The artificial intelligence tools review and draft, and a Lawyerit lawyer reviews, edits and approves every output before it reaches the client. The artificial intelligence tools do not give legal advice on their own.

6.3The legal service, and the professional responsibility for it, are those of the Firm, in accordance with and subject to the engagement agreement signed with the client, including the limitations of liability set out in it.

6.4The scope of the Services, the deliverables, the timetables, the fees and the other terms of each engagement will be determined in the engagement agreement. In the event of a contradiction between these Terms and the engagement agreement, the provisions of the engagement agreement will prevail.

6.5The quality of the Services depends, among other things, on the information and documents provided by the client. The client is responsible for the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the information and documents that it provides to the Firm, for obtaining any consent or other lawful basis required for their transfer to the Firm, and for informing the Firm of any change in them. Subject to any mandatory provision of law, the Firm will not bear liability for any damage caused as a result of information or documents that are inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, or that were not provided to the Firm.

6.6The use of artificial intelligence tools in the framework of the Services is made in accordance with the Privacy Policy, and, to the extent that the information includes information protected by a duty of professional confidentiality or by attorney-client privilege, only in tools that have been examined in advance by the Firm and subject to contractual arrangements with the providers of the tools that restrict the use of the information, including in respect of the training of models.

7. Prices and Payment

7.1The Firm works at fixed prices and does not bill by the hour. Plans of the AI legal department service start at USD 999 per month, and one-off projects are provided at a fixed fee that is quoted in advance.

7.2The prices displayed on the Website are for general information only and do not constitute an offer. The binding price, the payment terms and the other commercial terms will be those set out in the price quote and in the engagement agreement signed with the client. The Firm may change the prices displayed on the Website at any time, without derogating from the prices agreed in an engagement agreement that has already been signed.

7.3The self-service privacy policy product is purchased through the online payment means presented at the time of the order, and is subject to the terms of that product as presented at the time of the order, in addition to these Terms.

8. Introductory Calls and the Client Platform

8.1Introductory calls are scheduled through the Cal.com platform (cal.eu/lawyer-it/30min). An introductory call is intended to get to know you and your needs and to examine the possibility of an engagement, and does not constitute legal advice or create a lawyer-client relationship.

8.2Clients of the Firm receive access to the client platform at portal.lawyer-it.com (the "Platform"). Access to the Platform and its use are subject to the engagement agreement and to any terms displayed in the Platform. You are responsible for keeping your login details and your means of identification confidential, for any activity carried out through your account, and for notifying the Firm immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or of any suspected breach of security.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1All of the rights, including copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, database rights and any other intellectual property right, in the Website and in the Content, including texts, articles, guides, the free tools, the questionnaires, templates, graphics, design, the "Lawyerit" name and logo, software, source code and the selection and arrangement of the Content, are owned by the Firm or by third parties that have granted the Firm a license to use them, and are protected by the laws of the State of Israel, by international treaties and by the laws of other countries.

9.2You may view the Content for your personal or internal business use only. Except as expressly permitted in these Terms or with the prior written consent of the Firm, you must not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, display in public, translate, adapt, create derivative works from, sell, license or make any commercial use of the Content, in whole or in part, nor remove or change any notice of rights in it. Quoting a short excerpt of an article with a clear attribution to Lawyerit and a link to the original article is permitted.

9.3You must not use the Content, including by automated means, for the purpose of training, developing or improving artificial intelligence models or systems, or for the purpose of creating a database or a competing product or service, without the prior written consent of the Firm.

9.4The rights in the documents and deliverables prepared for a client in the framework of an engagement will be governed by the engagement agreement.

10. Acceptable Use

When using the Website, you undertake not to do, and not to allow anyone else to do, any of the following:

10.1Use the Website in breach of any law, or for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;

10.2Provide false or misleading information, impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your connection to any person or entity;

10.3Enter into the Website or the Chatbot information about a third party without being authorized to do so, or information whose provision breaches a duty of confidentiality or any right of a third party;

10.4Use robots, crawlers, scrapers or any other automated means to access the Website, to collect Content or data from it, or to send messages to the Chatbot, other than search engines that index the Website in accordance with accepted practice;

10.5Attempt to bypass, disable or interfere with the security measures, the usage limits or the operation of the Website or of the Chatbot, including by means of "prompt injection" or any other attempt to cause the Chatbot to act contrary to its purpose, to disclose its instructions or to produce harmful content;

10.6Introduce viruses, malicious code or any other harmful component, or place an unreasonable load on the infrastructure of the Website;

10.7Gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, to the Platform, to accounts of other users or to the systems of the Firm or of its providers;

10.8Copy, frame or mirror the Website, or link to it in a manner that suggests a connection to, or an endorsement by, the Firm that does not exist.

The Firm may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, block or limit your access to the Website, the Chatbot or the Platform, in whole or in part, if it suspects that you have breached these Terms, without derogating from any other remedy available to it under these Terms or under any law.

11. Disclaimers

11.1Subject to any mandatory provision of law, the Website, the Content, the free tools and the Chatbot are provided "as is" and "as available", without any representation, warranty or undertaking of any kind, whether express or implied, including regarding their accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability or non-infringement of third-party rights.

11.2The Firm does not undertake that the Website will operate continuously, without interruptions or errors, that it will be secure and free of viruses or malicious code, or that defects in it will be corrected. The Firm may change the Website, its structure, its design, the Content, the free tools and the Chatbot, as well as discontinue the operation of the Website, in whole or in part, at any time, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, and you will have no claim, demand or suit against the Firm in this regard.

11.3The Website may include links to websites and services of third parties, including WhatsApp and Cal.com. These websites and services are not under the control of the Firm, and the Firm does not check their content, their security or their privacy policies. The use of these links is at your responsibility and is subject to the terms of those third parties.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1Subject to any mandatory provision of law, the Firm, its lawyers, employees, service providers and anyone acting on its behalf will not bear any liability or responsibility in connection with any damage, loss or expense, of any kind and type whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential, including loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of data or damage to reputation, which was caused and/or will be caused to the User and/or to a third party, in all matters relating to and concerning the use of the Website, the Content, the free tools or the Chatbot, or the inability to use them, or reliance on them, whether the claim is based on contract, tort, statute or any other legal basis, and even if the Firm was advised of the possibility of such damage.

12.2Without derogating from the above, and subject to any mandatory provision of law, in any case in which the Firm is found liable in connection with the Website, the Content, the free tools or the Chatbot, the total liability of the Firm will not exceed the amount of USD 100.

12.3The liability of the Firm in connection with the Services provided under an engagement agreement will be governed exclusively by the engagement agreement, including the limitations of liability set out in it. Nothing in these Terms extends the liability of the Firm beyond that set out in the engagement agreement.

12.4Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for damage caused intentionally.

13. Indemnity

You undertake to indemnify the Firm, its lawyers, employees and anyone acting on its behalf, upon its first demand, for any damage, loss, liability, expense or payment, including reasonable legal fees and litigation expenses, caused to them as a result of your breach of these Terms or of any law, or as a result of information or content that you provided through the Website, including information about third parties, provided that the Firm has notified you of the claim and has allowed you to defend against it.

14. Privacy

The Firm attaches great importance to protecting your privacy. The collection and use of Personal Data through the Website and in the framework of the Services are subject to the Privacy Policy (https://lawyer-it.com/legal/privacy/) and to the Cookie Policy (https://lawyer-it.com/legal/cookies/), which form an integral part of these Terms.

15. Changes to these Terms

The Firm may change these Terms from time to time, at its sole discretion and/or in accordance with changes in the law or in the Services. The updated Terms will be published on the Website, together with the date of their last update, and will apply from the date of their publication. In the event of a material change, the Firm will act to give notice of it on the Website. Your continued use of the Website after the publication of the updated Terms constitutes your consent to them. Changes to these Terms will not derogate from the terms of an engagement agreement that has already been signed.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

16.1These Terms, and any matter or dispute relating to the Website, the Content, the free tools or the Chatbot, will be governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its rules on the conflict of laws.

16.2The competent courts in the city of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel, will have sole and exclusive jurisdiction over any matter or dispute relating to these Terms, the Website, the Content, the free tools or the Chatbot, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objection to it. Nothing in this Section derogates from any mandatory right granted to a consumer under the law of the country of his or her habitual residence.

16.3The governing law and the jurisdiction in respect of the Services provided under an engagement agreement will be those set out in the engagement agreement.

17. General

17.1These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Firm regarding the use of the Website, and supersede any prior understanding regarding it. In respect of the Services, the engagement agreement will prevail as stated in Section 6.4.

17.2If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted, to the extent possible, in a manner that gives effect to its purpose, and the validity of the remaining provisions will not be affected.

17.3No waiver, delay or refrain from exercising any right by the Firm will be deemed a waiver of that right or of any other right.

17.4You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without the prior written consent of the Firm. The Firm may assign its rights and obligations under these Terms, subject to the professional obligations that apply to it.

17.5The Firm will not be liable for any delay or failure in the operation of the Website caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including failures of communication networks, of hosting providers or of third-party services.

17.6These Terms are published in English. If they are also published in another language, then in the event of a discrepancy between the versions, the English version will prevail in respect of the English website.
